So there is plenty of precedent for stoning - but not in the Quran

Lets not forget the religious freaks. For 1000 years, the religious freaks have been threatening people with hell fire (as though it is theirs), and with all kinds of lying crap.

This idea of stoning people to death for sexual impropriety is not found in the Quran at all. It is mentioned in other books, particularly the Old Testament (which most modern Christians do not follow anyway)

The question is, can the Muslims follow the Bible? Logically, if Muslims follow the Bible, then they cannot be Muslims anymore. But what does the Quran tell the Muslims about following the 'People of the Book' or Ahli Kitab?
