OUTSYED THE BOX
Dr Mahathir's policies did require some major input from the people - you had to improve yourself, grab the opportunities, work hard and move forward. Many Chinese and others have done this very well. Unfortunately the Malays have missed the boat there too. We drink the same water, the same roti canai and nasi lemak, breathe the same air, attend the same universities and even take the same courses yet the outcomes are so different. We have to be serious in identifying the causes of the diferent outcomes.
