THE UNSPINNERS
KOTA KINABALU: PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is not
giving the true economic picture when he offered oil producing states
20% petroleum royalty, Sabah Barisan Nasional secretary Datuk Rahman
Dahlan said.
He said Anwar should explain if his proposed increase in royalty for the four states would affect the huge federal development allocations for Sabah and Sarawak.
“If Anwar increased Sabah’s royalty to 20%, can he guarantee that he will not reduce the state’s allocation in his federal budget or in the 11th Malaysia Plan?” he said here yesterday.
