All the businesses in this area (Jalan Masjid India, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman all the way up to Chow Kit are open on Sundays. With rentals running from RM20,000 to RM38,000 per month (or about RM1000 per day) for a ground floor lot we just cannot afford to close even on Sundays ok. Life is tough as it is. Please dont make things worse by clsoing the roads and disrupting our businesses.I dont know how long it is going to take for the DBKL, the Government and the corporate sponsors like Standard Chartered Bank to come to their senses that the city centre of Kuala Lumpur has outlived and outgrown its usefulness as a venue for sports activities, bicycle races, shows and such which close the roads down.
